Why Waterless Matters

At House of Treasures, we believe skincare should be purposeful — never diluted. That’s why many of our products are waterless (anhydrous), made without added water or fillers. This allows us to create concentrated, high-performance formulas using only nourishing plant oils, butters, and botanical actives.

When water is used, it’s never just water — we use functional waters like aloe vera juice, hydrosols, or cucumber water and occasionally add distilled water, each selected for its skin-loving properties. We formulate with intention so every ingredient contributes to the product’s effectiveness.

From Adversity to Beauty: The House of Treasures Story

In 1995, after battling cancer, I realized I needed to rethink everything about my health — including what I put on my skin. My journey to recovery wasn’t just about healing; it became a path to nourishing my body and soul, starting with clean, natural skincare.

​

For years, I had built a business around women’s accessories and bridal collections. But it wasn’t until my own health journey that I truly understood the importance of what we allow on our skin. Just as we carefully choose what we eat, I knew skincare should be equally pure, safe, and effective.

​

I soon discovered the transformative power of plants. Nature offered everything I was searching for — ingredients that hydrate, soothe, and support the skin’s natural beauty. That inspiration led to a deeper calling: to create skincare that was pure, plant-powered, and rooted in care.

• In 2005, I opened my first business focused on women’s accessories, later expanding into bridal collections.

​

• In 2008, I began offering skincare from another brand to complement beauty offerings.

​

• In 2014, I formulated my first original product: Lavender Dream, a waterless body butter created to hydrate and soothe dry, sensitive skin. It quickly became a customer favorite — and remains a bestseller today.

That success ignited a passion to build something greater: a brand focused entirely on plant-based skincare that supports the skin, hair, and nails with clarity, care, and intention.
